Frequently asked questions
A HVLS (high-volume, low-speed) fan can be described as a ceiling fan greater than 7 feet (2.1 meters) in diameter. It is designed for large spaces such as factories, warehouses, schools, commercial & religious spaces as well as restaurants with high ceilings.
A HVLS fan uses its size to produce and move a significant amount of air in a column towards the floor. The air then flows horizontally in all directions until it hits a barrier or airflow from another fan before turning upwards and flowing up to the fan. This creates air currents that build as the fan continues to spin, and increased air circulation to efficiently remove hot, humid air and replace it with drier air. Using ¾- to 2-hp motors, HVLS fans consume power at a fraction of the cost of multiple small ceiling fans, effectively saving your energy costs.
Whether it’s high-ceilinged warehouses, huge and wide factories, large commercial spaces or even in spacious residential areas, our fans bring optimal airflow everywhere. Keep your employees cool in a workshop, improve comfort in a grand living room —the possibilities are endless. If you’ve got a space, we’ve got the perfect fan for you.
Warehouses, factories, gyms, shopping malls, restaurants with high ceilings —pretty much anywhere people need efficient, large-scale air circulation. Our fans are also ideal for homeowners looking to keep big rooms comfortable without relying solely on AC.
The answer: a lot. By reducing your reliance on expensive AC systems, our energy-efficient fans can cut your cooling costs by up to 30% or more! Imagine running just one large, high-performance fan instead of multiple smaller ones.
